French Riviera
Car Delivery at Nice Airport, Your Villa or Hotel
Most prestige rental companies on the French Riviera deliver the car. Few of them explain how it works. Here is how it goes, with nothing left out.
Where we meet you
The three handover points
At Nice airport
This is the most common case. The vehicle is waiting when you land, and you collect it outside the terminal.
At the address where you are staying
A villa, a hotel, a residence. We arrive at the agreed time and leave in our service vehicle.
At the port
If you arrive by sea, or are boarding a boat afterwards, the handover takes place on the quay.
On the French Riviera, we operate in Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Mougins and Valbonne.
Step by step
What happens at Nice airport
Nice has two terminals. Tell us yours when you book: the meeting point is not the same, and neither is the car park.
The process is always the same. You send us your flight number. We track it. You message us when you collect your luggage. We confirm the exact spot, and you find us there with the car.
Allow about twenty minutes on site. That is not waiting, it is time well spent: the inspection together, photos, paperwork and, above all, getting to know the car. On a car you are not familiar with, we show you how to start it, the drive modes, the ride height adjustment if the car has one, and the controls you would never guess.
Those twenty minutes spare you a panicked call the next morning in front of an underground car park.
The unexpected
If your flight is delayed
We plan for it. We follow the flight, not the time written on the contract.
A one-hour delay changes nothing. A longer delay, a flight diverted to Marseille, a missed connection: message us and we move the handover. We do not charge for a flight delay, because it is not your decision.
The reverse matters too. An early flight can mean the car is not there yet. Let us know and we will come earlier.
Nice gets late flights. A night-time handover is arranged when you book, never on the day. Two things to know: the inspection is done by torchlight and needs more care than in daylight, and getting to grips with a supercar at midnight after a long flight is not ideal. If you arrive late and do not need the car until the next day, say so. A morning delivery to your hotel is more comfortable for everyone.
Time, terminal, meeting point and return point: everything is confirmed in writing when you book.
Return
Returning the car somewhere else
The car can be returned to a different place from the handover, within the region. This comes in useful more often than you might think:
- Arriving in Nice, leaving from Saint-Tropez
- Setting off by sea from Golfe-Juan, coming back by road
- A stay that starts in Monaco and ends in Cannes
Tell us the return point when you book. Depending on the distance, there may or may not be a surcharge, and you will know before you confirm.
On your side
What to prepare
Nothing complicated, but it all needs doing beforehand:
- Documents sent and approved: driving licence, ID, a credit card in the driver’s name
- Flight number and terminal sent over
- The exact delivery address if it is not the airport, with the floor or gate if needed
- Return point and time
Everything is sorted over WhatsApp. The aim is that on arrival day, all that is left is to get in the car. The full list of documents is in our guide on rental requirements.
What nobody tells you
Villa deliveries
A supercar cannot get up every driveway. Some addresses in the hills, in Mougins, in Super Cannes, on the heights of the Cap, have steep access roads, tight bends or narrow gates.
If your villa is one of them, tell us. We know most addresses in the region, and when we do not, we check beforehand. It is better to deliver at the foot of the hill and drive up with you than to scrape a sill that costs a fortune to repair on a private drive.
