The most accessible valley from Geneva, and the most vertical in Europe. An hour and a quarter of road, and Mont Blanc at the end of it.

How it works

In Chamonix, in practice

From Geneva airport

1 h 15, one of the most direct approaches in the Alps. The road is good, and usually the better choice: we arrange a flight when it genuinely buys you something.

The valley is long

Chamonix, Les Praz, Argentière, Les Houches: a chauffeur on call spares you the back-and-forth and the car parks that fill by nine. Aiguille du Midi in the morning, Grands Montets in the afternoon.

Beyond the skiing

High-mountain guide, heliskiing on the Swiss side, spa, valley tables, a run through the tunnel to Courmayeur. The concierge line answers around the clock.

Season

Skiing from December to April, climbing and hiking from June to September. Chamonix never really closes.

Helicopter landing

Vallée de Chamonix. Your car is waiting when the aircraft sets down.

Frequently asked

What you should know

Do we need four-wheel drive?

The main access is cleared, the chalets higher up are not always. We send equipped 4x4s as soon as the weather calls for it, with no last-minute surcharge.

Do you offer helicopters from Chamonix?

Yes, on request, particularly for heliskiing on the Swiss side or moving on to another resort. We will tell you plainly when the road is still the better option.

Can we cross into Italy for the day?

Yes, Courmayeur is around forty minutes through the tunnel. It makes a fine day, and your chauffeur meets you on the other side.
