Crans-Montana
A south-facing plateau looking straight at the Valais Alps. 182 kilometres from Geneva, and a quieter way of living than the big French resorts.
How it works
In Crans-Montana, in practice
From Geneva airport
182 kilometres, so 2 h 15 to 2 h 30 by road, along Lake Geneva then up the Rhône valley. By helicopter, around thirty minutes via the Sion area.
A resort you walk
Once you arrive, everything is close. The chauffeur earns his place on days out: Zermatt, Sion, the Valais vineyards, dinner across the valley.
Chalet, golf and spa
Chalet concierge, tee times, tables and treatments booked. We look after the stay, not only the journey.
Season
Skiing December to April, golf and hiking June to September. The September tournament is the fixture of the year.
Helicopter landing
Région de Sion. Your car is waiting when the aircraft sets down.
Frequently asked
What you should know
Is the train a good option here?
On this route, yes, more than elsewhere: direct to Sierre, then the funicular. We say so plainly, and we pick you up at the top if you would like.
Do we need a car in the resort?
Rarely. The resort is walkable and has shuttles. A car with chauffeur makes sense for days out in the Valais.
Do you operate in summer?
Yes. Golf, lakes, vineyards and the Alps on the horizon: Crans-Montana is one of the few resorts as good in August as in February.
